-
We offer the best massage experience in the valley. Our therapists are exceptional, our cleanliness standards exceed that of hospitals, and our studio is beautiful and calming. We offer over a wide variety of styles, treatments, and modalities and have appointments available seven days a week, mornings and evenings. We do not bill our patients’ insurance directly. However we provide all the necessary documentation on each receipt for our clients to self bill their insurance companies. Many of our patients successfully self bill and Health Savings Account and Flexible Spending Account cards are readily accepted as well. Be sure to give your insurance company a call to see if you can use your benefits at Melrose.
-
It is important to list all health concerns and medications so the therapist can adapt the session to your specific needs safely. It is also important to list any allergies so the therapist is aware if he/she needs to use a different oil or lotion during the session.
-
Tipping is NEVER expected. We hope all of our clients prioritize their finances for self-care and come in more often instead of feeling pressure to tip. It is NOT expected. However, if you feel your therapist was extra exceptional, you are more than welcome to show your appreciation by leaving a tip.
-
For our therapists and patients safety, we keep the front door locked when our therapists are in session and no one is in the lobby. If you arrive more than 15 minutes early it is likely all our staff are in session, but some one will be with you shortly. We apologize for this inconvenience and appreciate your understanding and patience!
-
Your late arrival will require that your therapist end the session at the scheduled time, meaning your session will unfortunately be shorter that day. We have reserved this time for you, and only you, and have other people scheduled after your time.
-
Cancellations or changes to your appointment can be made online by signing in to your account, by using our Melrose app, or by phone at (509) 460-2187
Cancellations or Rescheduling within 24 hours of your appointment will be subject to our Cancellation Policy. -
Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. Late cancellations and missed appointments leave our therapists with time that is difficult to refill on short notice.
To help us provide reliable scheduling for all guests while fairly compensating our team, the following policy applies:
Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged 100% of the scheduled service.
Appointments rescheduled with less than 24 hours' notice may be eligible for a reduced fee of 50% of the scheduled service, at Melrose Massage's discretion.
We understand that emergencies and unforeseen circumstances can occur. If an emergency prevents you from keeping your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible. Exceptions may be made at management's discretion.
Thank you for helping us respect the time of both our therapists and other guests.
Do I need an appointment, or can I just stop in?
Melrose Massage is by appointment only. Every session is reserved for one guest with one licensed massage therapist, so you get the full time you booked instead of being fitted in around someone else.
Same-day appointments are often available. The fastest way to see what is actually open is to book online — it takes about a minute and shows live availability. Our front desk answers the phone Monday through Friday, 9am to 2pm, at (509) 460-2187.
Are you open evenings and on weekends?
Yes — we are open seven days a week. Our doors open at 8:15am and the first appointment of the day starts at 8:30am. The studio is open until 9pm Monday through Friday, until 6pm on Saturday and until 5pm on Sunday.
That means you can get a massage in Wenatchee before work, after work or on the weekend. Late-afternoon and evening slots are the first to go.
How far ahead should I book?
There is usually something open within a day or two, but evenings and weekends fill first.
If you want a specific therapist or a specific time slot, book about a week out. If you just want relief soon, check online for same-day openings.
What types of massage do you offer?
Deep tissue and clinical therapeutic massage, Ashiatsu, Swedish and relaxation, sports and recovery, table Thai, prenatal, manual lymphatic drainage (MLD), injury and car-accident recovery work, cupping and hot stone.
Sessions can also be built up with enhancements — Deep Blue, CBD, jojoba, facial massage, hot towels and Himalayan hot stones.
If you are not sure what you need, book a clinical therapeutic session and tell your therapist what hurts; they will build the treatment around it. You can see everything we do on our services page.
Do you do deep tissue massage?
Yes — deep, specific work is what most of our clients come in for. Our therapists work layer by layer into the tissue that is actually holding the problem: necks and shoulders from desk work, low backs, hips, forearms and calves.
Pressure is always your call. Deep does not have to mean painful, and telling your therapist to ease off or dig in is the single best thing you can do for your session.
Do you do sports massage?
Yes. Sports massage at Melrose is the same clinical bodywork our therapists do every day, focused on how you train and work: targeted pressure, assisted stretching and recovery work to restore range of motion and keep small problems from turning into injuries.
It is popular with skiers, cyclists, runners and lifters — and just as much with orchard and warehouse crews whose bodies take a beating during the week.
Do you offer lymphatic drainage massage?
Yes. Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) uses light, rhythmic strokes to move lymph fluid and ease swelling. It is gentle work rather than deep pressure.
People usually come to us for MLD after surgery or injury, while recovering from illness, or when dealing with fluid retention, puffiness and a heavy, sluggish feeling.
MLD at Melrose is performed by a Klose-trained lymphatic therapist, so it is booked by name rather than as an add-on. Sessions are $129 for 60 minutes and $193 for 90 minutes.
Do you offer Thai massage?
Yes — table Thai. It is assisted stretching and rhythmic compression performed on a massage table rather than on a floor mat, and it is done fully clothed, so wear loose, flexible clothing you can move in.
Choose it when you want to leave feeling mobile and opened up rather than deeply worked on.
Do you offer cupping?
Yes. Cupping uses gentle suction to lift and decompress tissue instead of pressing into it, which makes it a good match for stubborn upper-back and shoulder tension.
Add it when you book or ask your therapist at the start of your session. Cupping can leave temporary circular marks that fade over a few days.
Do you offer couples massage?
Yes. Couples treatments are two side-by-side sessions in the same room with two licensed therapists working at the same time, available in 60- and 90-minute formats.
To book one, open our booking page and change “I would like to book an appointment for” from just me to couple, then choose a treatment for each guest. Pressure and style do not have to match — one of you can have deep clinical work while the other has a relaxation massage.
Pricing is per person at our standard rates: $117 for 60 minutes and $176 for 90 minutes. Couples slots are limited by therapist availability, so book further ahead than a single appointment, especially for evenings and weekends.
Is massage safe during pregnancy?
Our prenatal sessions are designed for expecting mothers, using side-lying positioning and specially designed cushions so there is never pressure on the abdomen. Therapists focus on the low back, hips and swelling that come with pregnancy.
If you have a high-risk pregnancy or any complications, check with your provider first and let your therapist know before the session begins.
What should I wear, and do I have to undress?
Undress to whatever level you are comfortable with. You are fully draped with a sheet for the entire session, and only the area being worked on is ever uncovered.
Table Thai is the exception: it is done fully clothed, so wear loose, flexible clothing you can stretch in.
Where do I park, and which door do I use?
We are at 769 Riverside Drive in Wenatchee, with a free lot and free street parking right out front. No permits, no meters.
Come to door 769 on the Riverside side of the building. If the door is locked, it means every therapist is currently in session — have a seat or give us a moment and someone will be with you shortly.
How much does a massage cost at Melrose?
Our standard treatments — clinical therapeutic, deep tissue, relaxation and stress relief, sports, table Thai and prenatal — are $117 for 60 minutes, $176 for 90 minutes and $234 for 120 minutes. Thirty-minute clinical and relaxation sessions are $70.
Ashiatsu is offered in longer formats only: $176 for 90 minutes and $234 for 120 minutes. Manual lymphatic drainage is $129 for 60 minutes and $193 for 90 minutes. Couples treatments are priced per person at the standard rate.
Our membership is $95 a month plus a $50 one-time activation and includes a 60-minute treatment credit every month, an included enhancement at every visit and member pricing on everything else. Health Savings Account and Flexible Spending Account cards are accepted.
Enhancements and current pricing for every service and length are listed on our booking page — you always see the price before you confirm.
How often should I come in?
It depends on what you are dealing with. Chronic pain and injury recovery usually respond best to a run of closer-together sessions, then a maintenance rhythm. For general tension and stress, most of our regulars land on monthly.
If massage is becoming part of your routine, our membership is built for exactly that.
Do you sell gift cards?
Yes — gift cards can be bought online at any time and are delivered by email, so they work as a last-minute gift. Find them on our gift cards page.
